Elvanell Vickers Waits, 85, passed away on January 17, 2023 at Skelton’s Personal Care Home in Mathiston, MS. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed flowers, especially her roses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall Morris Vickers and Mary Marvel Spence Vickers; son, John Morris Waits; and brother, David Vickers.
She is survived by her husband, John Paul Waits of Maben, MS; daughter, Vickie Anne Wolverton (Steve) of Maryland; son, Daniel Scott Waits of Florida; sisters, Dwain Morris of Louisiana and Sharon Sullivan of Tennessee; brother, James Marshall Vickers of Mississippi; and granddaughter, Celena Waits of Florida.
There will be a private graveside service at Maben Memorial Garden. Bro. Tommy Temple will conduct the service.
