Twila Waldrip Chaffin
Tupelo- Twila Waldrip Chaffin ,64, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at the NMMC.
Twila enjoyed singing, attending church and all church activities, baking with her daughter, thrift shopping, playing card/board games, spending time at the beach and especially spending time with her grandkids. She had attended Florida College and retired from NMMC after 31 years of service. She was a member of West Booneville Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. with Bro. Ward Hogland officiating. Burial will be in Little Brown Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Chaffin of Tupelo; daughter, Tara Chaffin; sons, Chad Chaffin (Onnika) and Andy Chaffin; sisters, Sylvia W. Johnson and Phyliss Wright (Larry); brother, Thomas Benton Waldrip IV (Gloria); grandchildren, Kaylee Chaffin, MaKenzy Chaffin, Luna Chaffin and Sophia Chaffin; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Benton Waldrip III and Hazel Clark Waldrip.
Pallbearers will be Robert Wood, Will Dodson, Ben Waldrip, Mike Waldrip, Tucker Wood and Ferrell Dodson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ricky Parker, Bart Aguirre, Jackie Clayton, Roy Langston and Donny Taylor.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 P. M.
