Royce Lee Smith
Mantachie- Royce Lee Smith, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Courtyard Nursing Facility in Fulton. He loved softball, gardening, all sports and especially watching the Atlanta Braves. Royce was an automobile repairman and he had worked for Harold Dobbs body shop, Harold Burns body shop, Petey Hopkins body shop, Charles Thompson’s body shop, Tom & Colonel Nelson’s body shop and Stanley Ratliff body shop. Royce was a Baptist.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2:00 P. M. with Bro. David Turner officiating. Burial will be in Kirkville Cemetery.
He is survived by two sons, Mitchell Robinson (Patricia) and Rickey Smith all of Mantachie; grandchild, Candy Robinson Comer of Ozark; great-grandchildren, Tanner Boutwell and Hannah Claire Comer.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher and Pauline Barnard Smith; his wife, Nellie Smith and four brothers.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home from 1:00 until service time @ 2:00 P. M.
