Lonnie Rowsey

A service to celebrate the life of Lonnie Rowsey, 81, will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Home with burial to follow in Johns Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Rowsey passed away on February 25, 2023 at his residence. He was born on February 28, 1942 in Alcorn County to the late Millard Filmore and Ruthie Mae Maness Rowsey. He was a member of Mt. Olive Pentecostal Church. Professionally, he was a carpenter.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Yvonne Rowsey; son, Rick Gladish; daughter, Brandi Rowsey; brother, Phillip Rosey (June); and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Rowsey and his wife Mavine.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Lee Walker, Blake Walker, Drake WIlliamson, Rick Gladish, Josh Zills and Jason Williamson.
