James Edward “Jed” Duke
Jackson Hole, WY- James Edward “Jed” Duke, age 39, passed away March 17, 2023 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He was born in Tupelo, MS December 27, 1983. He is the son of Kellie Conwill (Robin) and Dr. Marty Duke (Belinda). He enjoyed hiking, fast cars, flying, and creating memories with family and friends. He was a boy scout and a member of the civil air patrol. He was passionate about cooking and made many smile through a good meal. He always had a smile on his face and could give a good laugh. Jed was full of joy and cared deeply for anyone he met. He was a loving son, father, brother, grandson, and cousin to many.
He is survived by his mother and father Kellie Conwill (Robin) and Dr. Marty Duke (Belinda); his children Taylor and Katelyn; his grandmother Lana Kesler; his great-aunts and uncles, Gigi, Charlie and Helen ; his siblings Kaitlin Carr (Dennis), Nicole Carpenter (Ruel), Jonathon Conwill (Kriste), Jessica Mikell (Sam); special cousins, Will and Mary Alice and John Stacy; and Uncle, Melvin Duke (Debbie) and Aunt, Debbie Moore (Rodney); host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Edward Kesler, Murray and Evelyn Duke, and great grandmother Thelma McVey.
His family hopes he is singing Fight for LSU while he goes through the Pearly Gates. We will love and miss you until we meet again.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home in Baldwyn, MS Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12-2 p. m. with funeral services @ 2:00 p. m. with Bro. John Mark Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Pratt Cemetery.
