Debbie Duke
Tupelo- Deborah Ann Duke (60), beloved and devoted wife, Momma, Gran Gran Sissy, friend and colleague passed peacefully from this world surrounded by family March 31, 2023.
Deb was a faithful member of the East Main Street Church of Christ. She was a 28 year, dedicated employee at Tupelo Water and Light. She volunteered countless hours hand-making quilts for veterans through the Quilts of Valor Foundation. In her spare time, she loved relaxing on the beach, watching baseball, traveling and having adventures with her family. She provided all of her sons with a wonderful foundation of love and support. She will be forever cherished and dearly missed.
She is survived by her loyal husband of 39 years, Melvin Duke; cherished sons John Stacy (Jentri), Matthew (Cheyenne), and Dominic; beloved grandsons John Henry and John Maverick; sister Marlene (Bruce) Underwood; and treasured nieces Erica and Andrea Underwood; and a host of other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Carol Nichols.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, April 02, 2023 at 3:00 P. M. with Bro. Mark Hitt officiating. Burial will be inPrentiss Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P.M. and Sunday from 1:00 – 3:00 P. M.
