Nelda Marie Hendricks Bryant, 84, passed away on April 1, 2023 at Montgomery Gardens in Starkville, MS. She was a retired secretary at Mississippi State University and also at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville. Nelda loved the Lord and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church in Starkville. She loved animals, reading, and community service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace W. Hendricks and Hildred Grisham Hendricks; and brother, Roy Donald Hendricks (Betty).
Nelda is survived by her son, William Paul Bryant (Susan) of Brandon, MS; niece, Beth Hendricks Cline; and lifelong friend, Pat Reynolds.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, April 5, 2023 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 6, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. at Welch Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Middleton will conduct the service. There will be a private graveside.
