Delta Mae Clayton
Tupelo- Delta Mae Clayton, 84, passed away on Saturday, April 08, 2023 at the Courtyard Nursing Facility in Fulton. She had worked at Lee County Head Start, Belden School and the lunch room at Saltillo School. She enjoyed fishing and feeding the birds. Delta was a member of New Prospect Primitive Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 3:00 p. m. with Bro. Rob Gill officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Clayton of Tupelo; brothers, Hugh Turner and Raymond Turner (Diana) all of Texas and Rodney Turner (Kathy) of Saltillo; granddaughter, Salena Morgan (Gary) of Tupelo; great-grandchildren, Randy Morgan, Riley Morgan and Ruthann Morgan; host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Carrie Bedford Turner; husband, Bobby Clayton; four sisters and five brothers.
Pallbearers will be Gary Morgan, Randy Morgan, Riley Morgan, Michael Mason, Laine Mason and Brownie Franks.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2:00 until service time @ 3:00 p. m.
