Percy Ray Boggan Jr.

Percy Ray Boggan, Jr. went to his heavenly home on Friday, April 21, 2023 after a brief illness. A Celebration of Life service will be Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at First Baptist Church in Corinth, MS with Bro. Nathan Van Horn officiating. Visitation will be Monday, April 24, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.

Percy was born in Collierville, TN on October 4, 1944 to the late Percy Ray, Sr. and Dorothy Langley Boggan of Memphis, TN. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Corinth and actively volunteered his time to his church family and anyone in need. He graduated from Christian Brothers College (University) with a degree in Engineering. He always considered himself an engineer.

Percy was preceded in death by his parents.

Percy is survived by his wife, Judy Meeks Boggan of 57 years; his son, Stephen Boggan (Allyson); daughter, Stephenie Boggan Driver (Brian); grandchildren, Aaron Boggan, Abby Boggan, Hannah Driver; brother, James Boggan (Elizabeth); and sister Kay Boggan Aldridge (Dale).

Honorary Pallbearers for the service will be the Adult Men's Sunday School Class; Bryan Byars, Gene Jackson, Taft Little, Troy Meeks, Roy Taylor, Bill Whitehurst, and Robert Wolfe.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be sent to Sharing Hearts or The Lighthouse.
