Christine Doss Kisner, 88, of Bruce, MS, departed from this life on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo as a result of a vehicle accident. She was born on April 02, 1935, in Sulphur, OK to the late Albert Ala Martin and Edith Hill Martin.
Christine was an Avon representative for many seasons of life. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. Christine loved going to auctions and loved to travel. She loved music. Christine was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
She leaves behind a daughter, Teresa Doss Nichols of Vardaman; three sons: Glenn (Kathy) Doss of Starkville; Ernie (Mary) Doss of Bruce; Davy (Lisa) Doss of Bruce; seven grandchildren: Billy Jack (Kellie) Doss, Phoenix Doss, Colt Doss, Laken (Justin) Hawkins, Brooke (Cameron) Thomas, Walker (Sydney) Nichols, and Tristan Nichols. Christine also leaves behind seven great-grandchildren.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Ala Martin and Edith Hill Martin; sister, Vera Faye Martin; brother, Bud Martin; and the father of her children, Pete Doss.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The service honoring Christine's life will take place on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Douglas Bullard, Jimmy Franklin, Justin Hawkins, Tristan Nichols, Walker Nichols, and Cameron Thomas will carry Christine to rest in Bruce Cemetery.
