Lisa Brooks Ashmore of Starkville, MS passed away peacefully in her home the weekend of May 13th.
A retired employee of Mississippi State University and beloved to her friends, family, and church, her presence will be greatly missed.
Lisa was preceded in death by her husband Perry Ashmore, father Gladden Brooks, mother Carolyn Brooks, and youngest son Eric Ashmore.
She is survived by her eldest son, Zac Ashmore; her brothers, Barry (Teresa) Brooks and Randy (Ginny) Brooks.
The family wishes to express the deepest love and gratitude to all who have been a part of her life. She was a special presence to all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in all those whose lives she touched.
Services will be held at Starkville First United Methodist Church Saturday, May 20th with visitation at 10:00 am, and memorial service at 11:00 am. Graveside services will follow at Memorial Garden Park.
