A Graveside service with Military Honors for John Vance Bricker, Jr. is set for 1:00 pm Thursday at Corinth National Cemetery. Family and friends gathering will be Thursday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home.

John died May 28, 2023 at his residence in Counce, TN. He was born April 3, 1934 in Selmer, TN to the late John Bricker, Sr. and Mattie Viola Bricker. He was a retired MSGT from the US Air Force, having over 30 years on the military side and civilian side, he was stationed at many bases throughout his career. After retirement he became a gun dealer and gunsmith. John moved back to the area in 1997 to be closer to his family roots. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working his cattle and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bricker; son, John Michael Bricker; and his parents.

He is survived by his son, Raymond Vance Bricker (Sharon); daughters, Deborah Bricker (Robert Lewis), Karen Kiesling (John) and Laura True (Arvin); twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
