John Jerome Lenske Jr., 82, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at his residence in Booneville. He was born June 17, 1940, to John and Leona Lenske. John is survived by his wife, Carolyn Lenske; his sons, John, James, and Jeff; his daughters, Jennifer and Joan; his grandchildren, Jade, Amber, Talena, Jack, Victor, and Ellie; and his great-grandchildren, Weston, Harlie, Noah, and Connor. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Booneville, Mississippi. John enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing, and spending time in the outdoors. He was a lifelong bee keeper.
A private celebration of life gathering has already taken place. The family has asked that in lieu of gifts or flowers, donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in care of Father Mario.
