Gladys Skinner
A Celebration of Life Service for Gladys Allene Skinner, 81, is set for 3:00 pm Saturday at Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Jetta Forsythe officiating. Burial will follow in the Indian Creek Cemetery. Family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00 pm to service time.
Gladys died June 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born March 27, 1942 to the late Cletus and Alice Ramer. She was a member of Butler’s Chapel Baptist Church and worked as a garment seamstress. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Skinner; sons, Mike Skinner and Dennis Skinner; and parents.
She is survived by her sons, Shawn Skinner and Tommy Skinner; daughter, Brenda Skinner; grandsons, Dewayne Skinner (Julie) and Cole Skinner; two great grandchildren, Anna Kate and Sam Skinner; step-sisters, Kathleen Williams and Ruthie Butler; and a host of other family and friends.
