Murray Lee Scoggins, 95, passed away on June 15, 2023 at Baptist Hospital in Columbus, MS. He was a retired manager with Kroger and a U.S. Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lofton G. Scoggins and Jo Della Heflin Scoggins; his wife, Euna Pearl Scoggins; daughter, Patricia Ann Fulgham; son, Joseph Kent Smith, Jr.; sisters, Sarah Cotton, Myrtle Lemons, Maggie Ollie Benson, Gertie Lemons; and brothers, Robert and Charlie Scoggins.
Murray is survived by his daughter, Mary Jo Winston (Kenny) of Starkville, MS; son, Gary Scoggins (Beth) of Macon, MS; sister, Dell Franklin; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 19, 2023 from 1-2 at Welch Funeral Home with the service immediately following. Then, a graveside will be held at Memorial Garden Park Cemetery.
