Tammy Sue Tutor Swords, 63, of Ecru was received into the kingdom of heaven on July 6, 2023. She was born April 2, 1960, in Okolona to Mae Jean Gober Dillard and Jesse Linville Tutor. She graduated in 1978 from North Pontotoc High and continued her education at ICC receiving a business degree. For the next 20 years she worked and later retired from Bancorp South. Upon retirement, she worked for the family business, Dillard Automotive, until it was time to retire and care for her mother. Over the span of her lifetime, she savored many different aspects of life. Decorating cakes, spending time with her grandchildren, and enjoying her numerous friends throughout the community where her infectious laugh and sense of humor will be missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Jessica Thomas(Josh) of Asheville, NC and Molly Brock(Joseph) of New Albany, MS; her mother, Mae Dillard; brother, Dean Dillard(Viva); 3 grandchildren; 1 step grandchild; 2 stepsisters; and a special sister, Judy May.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Linville Tutor; stepfather, James "Sput" Dillard; and her grandmother, Ethel Tutor.

Services will be Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11AM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Matt Russell officiating. Visitation will be Friday, July 7th 5-8PM at Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home and Saturday, July 8th 10AM until service time. Burial will follow in Ecru Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Browning, Eli Thomas, Scott May, Mike Hall, James Mardis, and Joseph Brock. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bentley Thomas, Maverick Brock, Casey May, Dave May, and Russell Swords.
