MANTACHIE – Dorothy Faye Baker Wooldridge, 84, known to all that loved her as Mamaw Faye, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, July 22, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at her home. A devoted and loving wife, mother, and mamaw, Faye was born August 20, 1938, to the late Austin and Eppie Baker of Saltillo. She married the love of her life, Bobby Joe Wooldridge, on June 27, 1961. Faye retired from Reed Manufacturing in 2002. She always enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, mowing the yard, and going to the Huddle House. She was Methodist by faith.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 25, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Mantachie with her grandson, Ben Rollins, officiating. Burial will be in the Center Star Cemetery.

Faye is survived by the love of her life of 62 years, Bobby Joe Wooldridge; one son, Leonard Wooldridge (Eileen) of Mantachie; her granddaughters, Madie Rollins (Ben) of Kirkville, and Lillie Pearl and Amber Brooks Whitbeck (Joe), both of Mantachie; a special nephew, Buddy McKissack (Pat) of Smithville; two sisters-in-law, Geneva Barnes of Mantachie and Margaret Baker of Saltillo; and a brother-in-law, Ed Campbell of Iowa.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Eppie Baker; two sisters, Frances McKissack and Eunice Campbell; two brothers, Merle Baker and Charles Baker; a niece, Judy Beard; two nephews, Wayne Baker and Bill Croft; a special great-nephew, Brice McKissack; and Great Grandbaby Rollins that was kept in Heaven.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Wooldridge, David Baker, Donny Wooldridge, Michael Wooldridge, Bobby McKissack, and Buddy McKissack.

Honorary pallbearers will be Drew Wooldridge, Joseph Conwell, A.J. Rye, Adam Taylor, Ryan Sewell, and the staff at Huddle House.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 24, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home in Mantachie.
