Cody Allen Haire, 24, of Banner departed from this life on Saturday, July 29,2023, at his home in Water Valley, MS. He was born on October 10, 1998 in Tupelo to Destiny Keen Griffin and Michael Haire.
Cody worked at Winchester. In his spare time, Cody enjoyed fishing and reading books. He enjoyed reading Lewis Lamar books.
He leaves behind his mother, Destiny (Ron) Griffin of Banner; father, Michael Haire of Pittsboro; five brothers: Justin (Cristina) Griffin of Booneville; Nate (Miriam) Griffin of Water Valley; Jake Griffin of Water Valley, Andrew Griffin of Banner, Matthew Griffin of Banner, nephews Jude Griffin and Cash Griffin, one sister Mary Elise Haire of Pittsboro; grandmother, Kay Keen; grandmother, Bobbie Griffin; grandparents, Barbara and J.C. Haire.
Cody is preceded in death by his grandfather, Spurgeon Keen.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at Drivers Flat Baptist Church. The funeral service honoring Cody' life will take place on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. at Drivers Flat Baptist Church with Bro. Sam Yarbrough and Bro. Stacy Watkins officiating. Charlie Doolie, Jason Hyde, Warren Jackson, Andrew Keen Griffin, Eli Morgan, and Eliott Morgan will carry Cody to rest in Drivers Flat Cemetery. Jake Griffin, Nate Griffin, Richard Morgan, Dakota Tutor, and Barry Vanlandingham will serve as honorary pallbearers.
