Cecil Wade Clark, 76, of Booneville passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved riding horses, hunting, fishing, and watching westerns.
A Celebration of life will be at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at McMillan Funeral Home with Mr. Matt Smith officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sumner’s Chapel Cemetery. Burial will be in the Sumner’s Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at the funeral home.
He is survived by his daughter, Dana Smith and her husband Matt; his grandchildren, Stegan Smith, Mana Smith and Cody Vick and his wife Kelsey; one great-grandchild, Peyton Vick; and a special friend, Janie Hyde.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mauvine Pounds Clark and one grandson, Danan Smith.
Pallbearers will be Cody Vick, Stegan Smith, Jeff Prentiiss, Russ Hyde, Tim Chapman, Cody Hurt, Larry Lewis, Patrick Pounds, Mason Pounds, Jackie Smith and Brian Clark.
