Janice McBrayer
Saltillo – Martha Janice McBrayer, age 74 passed away at NMMC Tupelo, Thursday August 24, 2023 after a brief illness. She enjoyed quilting, reading, spending time with her family, making memories with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, she enjoyed taking care of others, but most of all she loved her husband and her animals. She was a member of the Church of God in Georgia.
Funeral services will be Sunday August 27, 2023 at 2 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Tutor officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Creek cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years Jerry McBrayer of Saltillo, daughters Amanda Sparks of Georgia, Misty McCaffrey (Jason) of Guntown, Theresa Box (Wayne) of Tupelo, 2 sons Derek Hartline (Carol) of Saltillo, Tim McBrayer (Mitzie) of Saltillo, brother Jimmy Sparks (Nancy) of Belden, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Lela Hendrix Sparks, brothers Freddy, Jerry and Phillip Sparks, sisters Barbara Voithoffer and Paulette Lindsey.
Pallbearers will be Eddie Ballard, DJ Box, Stone Martin, Devin Hartline, B.J. Owensby and Dan Robison.
Visitation will be from 4 – 7 pm Saturday August 26, 2023 at Waters Funeral Home.
