Vernice Parnell Warner, age 83, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at home in Starkville, MS.
She is survived by her three daughters, Carolyn Edmonds (Kenny), Kathy Wells (Paul), and Lisa Allen (Jackie); nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Dean Tennyson (Ralph) and Jean Caston (Herbert); brothers, Billy Miller, Bobby Miller (Linda), and Raymond Miller (Debbie); numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lionel Warner and Johnny Parnell; two sons, Johnny Wayne Parnell and James Alvin Parnell; parents, William “Bo” Miller and Sarah Miller; brother, Sidney Miller; and sister, Frances Kinard.
Graveside services will be held at Curtis Chapel Cemetery in Starkville, MS on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Kenny Gardner will conduct the service.
