Murrel Travis Lowry
Harviell, MO- Murrel Travis Lowry, 74, passed away on September 07, 2023 at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in MO. He enjoyed traveling, reading, and mostly spending time with his family. Murrel was a retired truck driver from Ashley MFG. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and a member of Camp Creek Baptist Church in Guntown, MS.
Funeral services will be held at Camp Creek Baptist Church on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 3:00 p. m. with Bro. Martin Jacks and Bro. John Jacks officiating. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Misty Jacks (John) of Stewart, MS; sons, Mike Ivy (Donna) of Florence, AL and DeWayne Ginn (Amanda) of Saltillo; sisters, Linda Payton (Jim) of Indiana and Cynthia Rose (Eric) of Florence, AL; sister-in-law, Kim Lowry of Michigan; (11) grandchildren, Hannah Jacks, Liam Jacks, Kelli McAfee (Jim), Mandy Black (Matt). Scott Ivy, Hayden Ginn, Madelyn Ginn, Tawny Gentry, Cole Gentry, Amanda Lindsey and Brad Ketcherside; (14) Great-grandchildren;
Special companion, Annette Von Gentry of Harviell, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Murrel and Sue Wood Lowry; wife, Billie Humphres Lowry and brothers, Doug Lowry and Ken Lowry.
Visitation will be held at the church on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p. m.
