Sandra Jean Rodgers “Sandy” Reynolds, 78, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at Beau Ridge in Oxford, MS. The funeral will be Friday, October 13, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. in the Modern Sanctuary of Oxford-University United Methodist Church with Rev. Chris McAlilly officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 12:00 Noon in the atrium of the church. Burial will follow the service in Oxford Memorial Cemetery.

Sandy was born on August 30, 1945, in Kosciusko, MS, to the late Frances Lurline and Horace Carlton Rodgers. Before her retirement, she worked alongside her husband, AJ, at the family owned company, Cable Fiber Specialist, Inc., now owned by her son Jerome. Sandy was a well-loved member of Oxford University United Methodist Church. Though she was an avid Ole Miss baseball fan, when it came to football, she cheered on Alabama Crimson Tide. Always full of joy, Sandy often pampered herself with facials at the spa, and was a self-professed shop-a-holic. Her favorite shopping trips were those spent with her daughter, Regina, granddaughter, Arden, and her sisters. She loved spending time with her boyfriend, Chesterfield Brown, with her idea of the perfect date being pizza for dinner and Ya Ya’s Frozen Yogurt for dessert. Sandy was full of life and a loving, precious mother to her two children, Regina and Jerome. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, AJ Reynolds.

Sandy is survived by her daughter, Regina Lynn Harrison and her husband, Harry, of Oxford, MS; son, William Jerome Reynolds and his wife, Joy, of Kosciusko, MS; four sisters, Mary Lynn Hamilton of Pensacola, FL, Frances Yvonne Moore of Pocahontas, MS, Patsy Hagan of Reform, AL, and Betty Pinkerton of Reform, AL; and two grandchildren, Arden Jolie Reynolds and Nicholas Taylor Reynolds.
