Fred Bullard, 72, of Pittsboro departed from this life on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at New Albany Health and Rehab in New Albany, MS. He was born on November 29, 1950, in Bruce to the late E.Q. Bullard and Vesta Malone Bullard.

Fred served his country by serving in the United States Army. Fred worked for Resolute Forest Products as a shift manager until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed woodworking. Fred was deeply devoted to his family but not only his family he was devoted to his town. He served as an alderman on the town board. He was an avid Ole Miss fan and supported them in every sport. He was a member at Pittsboro First Baptist Church where he also served as a deacon.

He leaves behind his wife, Debbie Easley Bullard of Tupelo; three sons: Freddy (Sarah) Bullard of Sherman; Gary (Jeri) Bullard of Brandon, MS; Steve (Susan) Turnbloom of Nashville, TN; two sisters: Ellen (E.J.) Spratlin of Franklin, TN; Hilda (Bob) Hill of Merigold, MS; six grandchildren: Madi Bullard, Parker Bullard, Will Bullard, Jake Repsher, Camryn Turnbloom, and Connor Turnbloom.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents, E.Q. Bullard and Vesta Malone Bullard; two brothers: Gayle Bullard; Paul Bullard.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Pittsboro First Baptist Church. The funeral service remembering Freds’s life will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of Pittsboro First Baptist Church with Bro. Vincent Anderson and Bro. Bob Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Pittsboro Cemetery. Douglas Bullard, Allan Clarke, Heath Franklin, Jimmy Franklin, Glen Hill, Bill Malone, and Paige Martin will serve as pallbearers. The deacons of Pittsboro Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers.

The Staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bullard family as they begin this new season of life. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
