Danny Floyd
Guntown- Danny M. Floyd “Hound Dog”, 57, passed away on Thursday, November 02, 2023 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany. He had worked in the furniture business and he was a mechanic. He enjoyed collecting rocks and camping. He was of the Church of God Faith.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday, November 05, 2023 at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. David Boyd, Bro. Charles Durham and Bro. Shane Priest officiating. Burial will be in Campbelltown Cemetery.
He is survived by his two sisters, Winnie Carter (Tim) of Jericho and Kristie Floyd (Gary Duncan) of Baldwyn; brothers, Richard Floyd (Alice) Jericho, Billy Joe Floyd (Brenda) Blair, Ricky Floyd (Anita) Blair, Scotty Floyd (Nancy) Blair, Doug Floyd (Amanda) Saltillo, Mitch Floyd Baldwyn; his nieces and nephews were like children to him; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Ruth Davis Floyd; brothers, Jim W. Floyd, Terry M. Floyd and Sonny Blaylock; sisters, Penny Martin and Angie McDonald.
Pallbearers will be Corey Floyd, Shane Floyd, Jalen Priest, Chris Floyd, Junior Floyd, Oliver Erickson and DeWayne Floyd.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
