Louise Michael
Baldwyn- Louise Michael, 96, passed from this life on Monday, November 06, 2023 at her home. She was born on March 07, 1927 to Waymon Wallis and Ethel Calvary Wallis. She was a member of South Prentiss Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was a former employee of Prentiss Mfg. and Marietta Mfg. and Her life was a full life. She loved her family and friends. Louise loved Jesus and had no problem preaching to you. She was a Proverbs 31 woman who always made sure her family was taken care of in every way. Even though her light has gone out her legacy will live on through her children. She taught us to love others and treat them with respect and kindness.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday, November 09, 2023 at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Bill Adams and Bro. Jeremy Johnson officiating. Burial will be in East Mount Zion Cemetery.
She is survived by her son, Danny Michael (Debra) of Baldwyn; her daughters, Amanda Michael of Saltillo and Kathy Michael of Baldwyn; grandson, Michael Calhoun (Holly) whom she raised; (7) grandchildren; (20) great-grandchildren; (8) great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents; her husband of 68 years, Vaughn Michael; brother, Arlin Wallis; sisters, Eddie May Spencer, Virginia Johnson and Katherine Johnson; her granddaughter, Melissa Whitt; great-granddaughter, Danielle Goff.
Her great-grandchildren will serve as her pallbearers.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 8:00 p. m.
