Thomas Bridges
Baldwyn- Thomas Bridges,75, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 05, 2023 at the NMMC Hospice Unit in Tupelo. He attended Parker’s Chapel Baptist Church for many years. He worked 43 years at Westrock Container before retiring in 2015. He loved bass fishing and working in his garden.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 08, 2023 @ 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ray Guin and Bro. Acy Barber officiating. Burial will be in East Mt. Zion Cemetery in Pratts.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jackie Roberts Bridges of Baldwyn; son, Chris Bridges of Baldwyn; brothers-in-law, Robert Ray, Baldwyn and Joe Roberts (Linda) Baldwyn; sister-in-law, Tommie Roberts Hopkins, Baldwyn; host of several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Bridges and Ruby Evelyn Mabry Bridges; brother, Larry Bridges; sister, Shirley Bridges Ray; in-laws, Cleo and Lamell Collum Roberts; brother-in-law, Donald Ray Hopkins; great-niece, Montana Rose Roberts.
Pallbearers will be Chris Bridges, Jason Bridges, Josh Bridges, B. J. Mills, Jody Roberts and Mitchell Kennedy.
Honorary pallbearers will be Andy and Brandon Hopkins
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 07, 2023 from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
