Viola Lorean Brown Shenks, 63, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Baptist Desoto Memorial Hospital in Southaven, MS. She was born October 12, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Elbert Talmadge Brown and Beverly Ann Barnes Brown. She was a home maker and a house keeper. She was an avid fisherman, and loved having her nails done and watching TikTok. She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Services will be private. McNeece-Morris Funeral Home of Fulton is assisting the family.
Survivors include one son, Rodney Shenks, Jr. (Jennifer); eight grandchildren, Katelynn, Caitlyn, Hunter, Jasie, Coleman, Gabrielle, Josey, and Tony; one great -great grandson, Hunter Avery; two siblings, Elbert Brown, Jr. (Pamela) and Bryan Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Rodney Shenks, Sr; one daughter, Angela Dunigan; two siblings, Vera Brown Sanders and Thomas “Tommy” Brown; and her parents.
