Earl S McCarley
Earl S. McCarley-Baldwyn age 88 died Sunday November 19, 2023 at The Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo after an extended illness. He was a retired machine operator for the Bio-Clinic in Baldwyn. He loved fishing, gardening, working in his yard and being outdoors. Earl loved family time, riding in the car and looking around. He was a member of the New Bethel Church and he enjoyed reading his Bible.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Braxton Rutland officiating. Burial will be in the Pratt Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter JoEllen Armstrong & James of Baldwyn grandchildren Brandon Owens (Panda), Jayme Armstrong (Stephanie), Little Wayne Owens (Aleshia), Bronzie Armstrong (Josh), Kaylee Owens and Shonda Owens great grandchildren Thomas Owens, Jacob Troy, Hunter Carson, Haley Carson, Blake Troy, Zoe Troy, John Smith, Breanna Armstrong, Andrew Owens, Preston Owens and Conner May, Kolten May, Surenity May, Waynie Ownes and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Ruth Surene McCarley, parents, Calvin & Violet Steed McCarley daughter RuthEllon Owens sister Opal Swinney brothers J.C. McCarley and Chalmers McCarley grandchildren Kristy Armstrong and Justin Armstrong.
Pall Bearers will be Thomas Owens, Josh Bullock.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 pm until 8 pm at Waters Funeral Home.
