Bobbie Lee Spratlin, 90, of Vardaman, departed from this life on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Trace Health and Rehab in Houston, MS. He was born on May 07, 1933, in Calhoun County to the late Lonnie Spratlin and Earline Sullivan Spratlin.

Bobbie served his country by serving in the United States Army. He served during the Korean Conflict. Bobbie married Maxine Murphree Spratlin on April 20, 1953, at Poplar Springs Church. The couple had two children: Karen Parker, of Vardaman and Stacy Spratlin of Houston. He owned and operated Bobbie's Gas Mart. In his spare time Bobbie loved to deer and rabbit hunt. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He was a member of New Liberty Baptist Church.

Bobbie is survived by his daughter, Karen Parker of Vardaman,MS; a son, Stacy Spratlin (Marcia) of Houston, MS; six grandchildren: Bradford Parker (Mary Ann) of Pontotoc, MS, Milette Russell (Mitchell) of Mantee, MS, Jon Parker (Melissa) of Pontotoc, Karmen Dendy (Miller) of Houston, MS, Jenna Jones (Michael) of Booneville, MS, and Connor Spratlin of Houston, MS; six great-grandchildren: Stephen Parker of Hernando, MS, Zoey Crowley of Mantee, MS, Zane Crowley of Mantee, MS, Luke Parker of Pontotoc, MS, Avery Russell of Mantee, MS, Logan Parker of Pontotoc, MS, and Kipton Dendy of Houston, MS. He leaves behind one brother, James Earl Spratlin.

Bobbie is preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Spratlin and Earline Sullivan Spratlin; wife, Ruby Maxine Spratlin; two brothers: John "Shorty" Spratlin; Alfred Spratlin.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman. The funeral service honoring Bobbie's life will take place on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at 10:30 A.M. in the sanctuary of New Liberty Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Bro. Jeff Harmon officiating. A visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to the service on Wednesday at New Liberty Baptist Church. Randall Lamb, Steve Long, Jerry Murphree, Stephen Parker, Kevin Spratlin, and Seth Spratlin will serve carry Bobbie to rest in New Liberty Cemetery. Zane Crowley and Luke Parker will serve as honorary pallbearers.
