Mary Catherine Brock
Saltillo- Mary Catherine Brock, age 89, died on January 12, 2024 at the Baptist Hospital in New Albany after an extended illness. She was a past employee of Play Craft, Reeds MFG. and the Saltillo School Lunchroom. She was a member of the Saltillo Methodist Church, loved quilting, crocheting, fishing, and especially keeping her grandchildren. She was a member of the Card Girls group that played rook and chicken feet.
Services will be Sunday, at 2:00 p. m. at Waters Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Green officiating. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Dale Brock and Ann of Saltillo and Dean Brock and Saundra of Saltillo; (6) grandchildren, Mandi Tutor and Danny, Christopher Pete Brock and Samantha Kingsley, Jacob Brock and Traci, Christal Chapman, Miki Green and bob, Cody Brock and Karissa; 19 great-grandchildren, with number 20 on the way; (6) great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Birdie Hester Russell; her husband, Mitchell Brock; grandchild, Zachary Brock; three sisters and three brothers.
Visitation will be Sunday from noon until service time at 2:00 p. m.
