Mrs. Louise White Waller, 95, died Friday, January 19, 2024 in Oxford, MS. The funeral will be Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. Barrett Milner officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Cemetery.

Louise was born on July 24, 1928, to the late Roxie Smith and Howard P. White in Lafayette County. She was a graduate of University High School and the University of Mississippi. A longtime member of First Presbyterian Church of Oxford, she served as an Elder for several years and was very active in the Women of the Church ministry. She lovingly devoted her life to caring for her family through constant acts of love and service. Louise was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sewing and working in their large garden. Louise’s grandchildren spent many hours in the kitchen with her in an attempt to learn how to make her beloved biscuit recipe. In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ernest Nolan Waller; her brothers, Lloyd R. White and Charles P. White; and her sister, R. Virginia White.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Judy Waller Shannon and her husband, David, of Madison, MS and Kay Waller Rossetti and her husband, Ken, of Oxford, MS; son, Terry N. Waller of Vicksburg, MS; two grandchildren, Kellie Shannon and Devin Rossetti and his wife, Kimberly; and three great-grandchildren, Dustin, Jenna, and Lily Rossetti.
