Jennie Sue Tedder

Jennie Sue Hardin Tedder, 94, passed away on February 7, 2024, at her home in Vardaman, MS.

Jennie was born on August 25, 1929, in Calhoun City to the late David Lonnie Hardin and Clytee Moore Hardin.

She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds and housekeeping.  She loved sporting events whether watching grandchildren play or watching on television. Travel was also a favorite pastime and she greatly enjoyed playing cards with the ladies of the community.
 
Jennie is survived by sons: James Melvin Tedder Jr. of Vardaman, Danny Eric (Sandra) Tedder, of Vardaman, and John Robert (Barbara) Tedder of Pontotoc; daughter Kathy Sue Tedder (Mike) Beasley, of Taylor; grandchildren: Angela Tedder Long, Jill Tedder (Mark) Ethridge, Kimberly Tedder Landreth, Ginger Lynn Tedder, Erica Dawn Tedder Diaz, James Eric Mitchell (Erin) Tedder, Jamie Sue Tedder (Chris) Graham, Cathy Jo Paden (Joel) Gray, John Caleb (Mallory) Tedder, and Alyssa Tedder Beasley; nineteen great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
 
Jennie is preceded in death by her husband James Melvin Tedder, her parents David Lonnie and Clytee Hardin; sisters: Mary Nell Hannaford, Addilene Anderson, and Annie Jean Scott; and brothers: William "Bunk" Hardin, David Lee Hardin, and Robert "Bob" Hardin.
 
Visitation will be Sunday, February 11, 2024, beginning at 1:00 PM until service time at 2:00 PM all at Midway Baptist Church in Vardaman with Bro. Parrish Hartley and Bro. Whit Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Mike Beasley, Preston Bullard, Mark Ethridge, Chris Graham, Joel Gray, Jacob Long, Ty Long, Caleb Tedder, Eric Tedder, Jake Tedder, Kevin Diaz, Austin Ethridge, Connor Graham, Tucker Graham, Jude Gray, Andrew Landreth, Dillon Landreth, Carter Tedder, Fulton Tedder, and James Emery Tedder.

The family ask that memorials be given to the Midway Cemetery Fund.
