Dellie Stone
Baldwyn- Dellie Stone, 83, passed away at her home on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was a 1959 graduate of Guntown High School and a retired factory worker. She enjoyed watching games shows, fishing, working in her yard, watching her hummingbirds, gardening, especially growing tomatoes. Dellie never met a stranger and was always the life of the party. Her daughter and grandchildren were her whole world and she loved everyone and everyone loved her.
Funeral services will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 1:00 p. m. with Bro. John Cagle officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Wood of Baldwyn; grandchildren, Paige Kirk (Dustin) of Baldwyn and Payton Wood of Baldwyn; great-granddaughter, Tatum Kirk of Baldwyn; host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lela B. Stone; four brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Don Rowan, Steve Floyd, Johnny Steen and Larry Rowan.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a. m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.
