Patsy Greene Chapple
Marietta- Patsy Greene Chapple, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Tupelo Nursing and Rehab. She was born May 22, 1937 to Herman and Vivian Williams Green in Prentiss County. She was a beautician in Chicago, Il in her earlier days. She was baptized into the Church of Christ at an earlier age.
Services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at noon with Bro. Tony Brown and Bro. Rickey Greene officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest Cemetery.
She is survived by her sisters, Lou Thomas of Marietta, Joyce Barber of Booneville, Patricia Hancock (Hal) of Tupelo and Nancy Mortimer (Andy) of Booneville; two brothers, Lynn Greene (Sarah) of Marietta and William Greene of Dennis; host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Roy Lee Berryhill; second husband, Leon Chappel; Son, Doug Berryhill; brothers, Lamar, Greene, Jimmy Lane Greene, JW Greene and Huey Greene; sisters, Nellie Simmons, Rachel Rossi and Louise Panis.
Pallbearers will be her nephews.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 11:00 a. m. until service time at noon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zion Rest Cemetery Fund at Farmers and Merchants Bank.
