Mattie Jean Weston
Baldwyn – Mattie Jean Weston, 86, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at the NMMC. She loved yoga, exercising and had worked in a soup kitchen in St. Louis, MO. Mattie Jean was a school teacher for over 40 years and was an English language tutor for college students. She was a member of West Side Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Keith Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Baldwyn Cemetery.
She is survived by her daughter, Niki Ledger (Victor); sons, Pat Weston (Jeannie), Tim Weston (Trish), Paul Weston, Rick Weston (Jeanny) and David Booker; special niece, Paula Grimes (Darrell); (11) grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Daisy Clouse Whitaker; husband, Paul Weston; sisters, Joan Bishop and Betty Lou Whitaker.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
