Sarah Ruth Perkins
Myrtle- Sarah Ruth Perkins, 90, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Tippah County Hospital. She was a graduate of Hickory Flat High School and had worked at Wurlitzer Piano Factory in Holly Springs. She was a Baptist.
Graveside services will be held at Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Randy Hamilton officiating. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Kay Estes (Jim) of Blue Mountain; four grandchildren, Kimberly Walls (Richard) of Ripley, Ray Mason (Rosie) of Blue Mountain, Amy Estes of Blue Mountain, and Holly Estes of Blue Mountain; six great-grandchildren, Daniel Fryar of Blue Mountain, Christian Fryar of Ripley, Paris Little of Ripley, Stephanie Mason of Arkansas, Will Crawford of Corinth and Branson Estes of Blue Mountain.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Elizabeth Deen Mattox; husband, Dallas Perkins; sister, Marie Hudson and a brother, Fred Mattox.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Fryar, Christian Fryar and Richard Walls.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
