PONTOTOC – Jimmy Lee Roberts, 60, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024, at his home. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. He was a hardworking man who loved to provide for his family. He worked for Russell Johnson at R J Cable Services contracted under Maxxsouth for the last eight years. He loved spending time with his family, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be at 2:00pm Monday, April 1, 2024, at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc. Bro. Joey Swords will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Forest Cemetery. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors, wife and best friend of 36 years, Debra; mother, Peggy, children, Nikki Dobbins, Brandie Tutor, Chris Pickens and Chris Roberts; all of Pontotoc; sister, Cathy Hardin (Bim); brother, Bill Roberts (Chrissy) all of Pontotoc; 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; along with other children he helped raise along the way.
Preceded in death by, father, Billy Ray Roberts; father-in-law, Delbert Pettit; grandparents, Grady and Hazel Roberts and James and Polly Gillespie; great grandson, Zayden Heath Fowler; and two uncles, Randy and Van Gillespie.
Pallbearers, Tyler-Rex, Dewayne and Slade Rowlett, Dawson, Dylan and Dayland Tutor; honorary, Randy Swindle and Tristan Pratt.
Visitation, 6-8pm Sunday, March 31, 2024, and 12pm until service time Monday, April 1, 2024.
