Mr. Richard Lynn “Rick” Lantrip, 72, died Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Grenada Health and Rehab. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Rick was born on March 8, 1952, to the late Faye Louise Barber and Cecil Sisson Lantrip. A lifelong resident of Oxford, he attended Fountain Anglican Church. He worked alongside his father as a painter at Lantrip Sign Company. In his free time, he enjoyed every moment he could outdoors, soaking in the sun and fresh air. Whether fishing or camping, Rick looked for any excuse to spend the day surrounded by nature, where he found peace and solace.
Rick is survived by his daughters, Sammantha Leeann Bryowsky and her husband, Joey, of Ripley, MS and Maria A. Mize of Oxford, MS; son, Jimmy Adamopoulos of Oxford, MS; sister, Reba Lantrip Bland of Oxford, MS; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
