Anthony Beene
Fulton- Crafton ”Anthony” Beene born May 29, 1951 of Fulton Mississippi passed away May 17, 2024 doing exactly what he loved on the Tennessee River. Anthony was a proud Veteran of the United States Air-Force and continued to serve his country another 27 years with the Army Corps of Engineers. Anthony spent the last several years of his life in retirement and enjoying all the things he loved such as fishing, concerts, and adventuring around the country with his wife, Scarlett. Anthony was Father of; Brandon Beene, Jamie Lee Beene, and Michael Beene.
Anthony is preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Beene and Irene Cooley –Beene of Mantachie along with his elder brother David Beane of Mantachie.
Survivors of Anthony include Wife, Scarlett McFerrin Beene, Sons, Brandon Beene and Michael Beene, Daughter, Jamie Lee Beene, Step Daughter Jennifer Strange, 2 Sister’s, Etta Jean Beene-Vaughan, Jane Beene Robbins, Sister-in-law, Selma Christian- Beane, Brothers-in-Law, Beverly Vaughan and JC Robbins. Grandchildren including Dylan, Landon, Hunter, Memphis, and Hinley.
A Celebration of Life to honor Anthony will be held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 11AM. This event will be held at the Pier Pointe 394 Pavilion located at Midway Marina in Fulton Mississippi. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Anthony’s name.
