Ronald Scott Clark, 62, passed away at Baptist Memorial Union County Hospital on Thursday, May 23, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born December 6, 1961, in Tupelo to Andrew Ronald Clark and Christine Spurgeon Clark.
Scott was a member of Bruce Church of Christ. He was a timber buyer, a timberman, and a natural gas mineral landman.
Survivors are his daughter: Autumn Clark (Matt) Insell, of Murfreesboro, TN; son Dillon Bryant (Katie) Clark, of Ingomar, MS; his mother Christine Spurgeon Clark, of Bruce, MS; mother of his children Donna Sue Bryant Winter, of Oxford, MS; sister Judy Clark (Willie) Cook, of Fulton, MS; grandchildren: Kellen Clark, Clark Insell, Case Clark, and Evie Insell.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Andrew Ronald Clark of Bruce.
Visitation for Scott will be Saturday, May 25, 2024, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A funeral service will also be on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. The burial will be in Bruce Cemetery. Those serving as pallbearers are Cameron Bryant, David Morgan, Chad Rodgers, Gary Schmitz, Aaron Sims and Pepper Watts. Honorary pallbearers are Dean Brummett, Case Clark, Kellen Clark, Clark Insell, Doug Morgan, Hayes Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers and David Sims.
