Kenneth "Tater" Leon Blaylock, 63, of Bruce, passed away on June 5, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on December 8, 1960, in Grenada, MS, Kenneth was known for his warm demeanor and his penchant for humor. As a dedicated truck driver Kenneth made countless journeys, always sharing his jokes and laughter with those around him.

He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and laughter, which will be deeply missed by his surviving relatives: his sisters, Debora (Allen) Fitzgerald of Cedar Bluff, MS, and Becky Hyde of West Point, MS, his brothers, David Blaylock of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Robert Blaylock of Eupora, MS, his nieces and nephews, his daughters, Teresa Lynn Tallant of Bruce and Melissa Tallant of Bruce, a son, Shannon (Nichole) Tallant of Austin, TX,  his grandchildren, Ryder Ward and PyppiarTallant and many others who were touched by his presence.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Leon Blaylock, mother, Shelby Hyde, and his wife Brenda Jenkins Tallant Blaylock.

A Graveside Service will be held in his honor at the Memory Memorial Garden on June 7, 2024, at 2:00 pm. with Bro. Max Blackwelder and Bro. Jeff Blackwelder officiating. Dan Hardin, Harvey Hardin, Roncie Hardin, Victor Bryant, Justin Ellard and Tony Ruth  will serve as pallbearers.

Kenneth's love for truck driving, his jovial nature, and his ability to bring smiles to those around him will always be remembered fondly. As we gather to bid him farewell, let us reflect on the joy he brought into our lives and the legacy of laughter he leaves behind. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and dearly missed.
