Donna Harrington Vinson, 77, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at The Pinnacle in Oxford, MS. Private family arrangements are being handled by Waller Funeral Home.
Born in Jackson, MS, Ms. Vinson was raised in Oxford, MS, and graduated from Oxford High School.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English from Hollins College, Roanoke, VA, and a Master of Arts in English from The University of Mississippi. Ms. Vinson taught at Hinds Junior College, Jackson, MS, and at Bishop State Junior College, Mobile, AL. Starting in 1991, she was the manager of the bridal registry department at Oxford Floral Company, Oxford, MS, until her retirement in 2013.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-parents, Evans and Betty Harrington and Abbey and Mickey Cullen.
Survivors include a son, Corey Vinson; a daughter, Whitney Vinson; and one granddaughter, Hardy Vinson Allen; all of Oxford, MS.
