Virginia Wilson
Blue Springs- Mary Virginia Hampton Wilson 89, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Cedars Health Care Greenhouses in Tupelo. She enjoyed reading, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She was a seamstress and worked in local factories all her life. She was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at United Funeral Home on Saturday, October 12, 2024 @ 2:00 p. m. with Bro. Dwain Ard officiating. Burial will be in Glenfield Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, David Wilson of Tupelo and Barry Wilson (Amy) of New Albany; sisters, Betty Gammel (Charles) of Ingomar and Kay Reed (Paul) of Ellistown; brother, Wayne Hampton (Carolyn) of Wallerville; grandchildren, John Wilson (Summer), Steven Wilson (Kristy), Ashley Thomas (Gary), Jonathan Wilson and Jacob Wilson; (7) great-grandchildren,
Dalton Burgett, D.C. Thomas, Whitney Wilson, Bianca Wilson, Kally Wilson, Matthew Wilson and Kash Wilson; host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lillian Mayo Hampton; sister, Shirley McBrayer and her husband, Willard McBrayer.
Visitation will be at United Funeral Home Friday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m.
