Robert E. “Smurf” Chism, 60, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024 at the NMMC. He loved spending time with his family and friends and he enjoyed farming and fishing. He was a Baptist.
Services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Monday @ 4:00 p. m. Burial will be in MT Olivet Cemetery.
He is survived by two daughters, Katrina Miller (Brian) of Tupelo and Holly Gusciniak (Josh) of Florence, KY; (5) sons, Michael Little of Ocean Springs, Jonathan Williams of Corinth, Dennis Edwards (Breanna) of Blue Springs, Rodney Williams (Brandy) of Baldwyn and Randall Williams (Kimberly) of Baldwyn; sister, Mary K. Holmes (Billy) of Baldwyn; (18) grandchildren; (4) great-grandchildren; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vernon L Chism and Mary Curtis Chism; brothers, Rayburn A. Chism JR. and Steve Williams.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 5:00 – 8:00 p. m.
