Jileene Aron

Jileene Aron,55, of Bruce, MS, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on January 8, 2025. Jileene was born on May 9, 1969, in Bruce, Mississippi. She devoted her life to caring for others, becoming a registered nurse with an unwavering commitment to her patients. Her work in hospice care showcased not only her strong work ethic but also her compassionate spirit, touching the lives of many.

Jileene had an adventurous spirit reflected in her love for riding horses and her enthusiasm for working around the farm and hayfields. Known for her great sense of humor and a sometimes heavy foot, she had a penchant for adventure that led to a few speeding tickets along the way. She loved spending time with her friends and family and enjoyed going to the beach and the Dixie National Rodeo each year.

She is survived by her fiance, Michael Landreth of Bruce; two daughters: Jensyn (Casey) Matsuno of Sherman, MS; Jenna Beth McGregor of Bruce, MS; son, Jake (Kasey) McGregor of Bruce, MS; as well as her beloved granddaughters, Midori Jade Matsuno and Juna Evette Matsuno; mother, Mitzi Aron of Bruce, MS; three brothers: Jason Earl (Julia) Aron of Bruce, MS; Dr. Jim "James L." Aron of Jackson, MS; Joe (Linda) Aron of Bruce, MS; sister Jennifer (Junior) Hillhouse of Bruce, MS. Together, they will carry forward her legacy of love and laughter.

Jileene was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Earl Aron.

Her impact on her family and community will be profoundly felt. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The service honoring Jileene's life will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, with Bro. Will Turner officiating. Following the service, Jileene will be laid to rest in Collums Cemetery. Jacob Aron, Javen Aron, Josh Aron, Brad Gunter, Justin Hawkins, Warren Hillhouse, Wes Hillhouse, and Billy Jack Stewart will serve as pallbearers. Bobby Gordon Brown, John Levy, Joe Allen Mitchell and Michael Swanson will serve as honorary pallbearers.
