Billie Carmen Lambert Beaty
Baldwyn- Billie Carmen Malone Lambert Beaty born June 8, 1943, was called home into the presence of our Lord January 17, 2025, 1:00 A. M. at her home in Baldwyn MS. Some called her Billie, some called her Carmen, some called her Aunt BeeBee and to others she was Mama Carmen. Billie wore many hats through out her 81 years. She was inquisitive, full of life, doing new things and learning new ways. She attended Guntown Schools until her senior year where she graduated at Saltillo High School. Already having established herself as an outstanding basketball player, she shined her senior year with a high score of 43 points! She went to junior college at Fulton, MS then on to finish at Mississippi State University.
Billie took a job in Huntsville, Alabama. There she met her first husband Bob Lambert. They eventually landed in Los Angeles, CA, to be near Bob’s three sons: Michael, Mark, and Greg. She taught first grade there in LA for about 26 years; then ventured into Cosmetology and finishing up as Office Administrator at her church. Afterwards Bob passed away and she returned to Baldwyn, MS.
In sometime later she flipped over Eddie Beaty who was sent to her house to tune an organ. Carmen incorporated an entire family with Eddie— Morgan Beaty Hudson (Sam); Edie Beaty and Reed Beaty. These along with Eddie’s sister, Donna Blythe and husband, Ronnie Blythe, and other friends have been very involved in her care for which family members, far away and unable to come, are very thankful.
Carmen is preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Evelyn Magers Malone and father, Mahlon Mathis Malone; a sister, Faye Spivey, two brothers – Jimmy and Danny Malone.
