Charles Edward Loyd
Blue Springs- Charles Edward Loyd passed away suddenly at his home in Alpine on February 05, 2025. He was born February 27, 1951 in Baldwyn, MS. He spent his days watching television and his bird feeders. His greatest joy was watching his granddaughter, Kadence grow and become a beautiful young lady.
Funeral services will be held at Waters Funeral Home on Friday, February 07, 2025 @ 1:00 p. m.
with Bro. Jerry Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pat Stanford Loyd of Blue Springs; granddaughter, Kadence Loyd; step-father, Jim McCain (Nancy) of Fulton; sister-in-law, Jackie Bell (Ronnie) of Saltillo; special niece, Michelle Wigginton (Jim) of Olive Branch; host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Loyd and Modean Page McCain; son, Patrick Loyd; brother-in-law, Malcolm Stanford.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bell, Bob Hutcheson, Shohn Greer and Jim Wigginton.
Visitation will be at Waters Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 – 1:00 p. m.
