Rob Laird – Baldwyn, passed away in the Pratts Community on February 8th, 2025. He was born to R.W. and Sybil Laird on September 27th, 1965.
Robert had a deep connection with nature, as well as a love of the Arts in all forms. He was an accomplished amateur photographer, skilled calligrapher, and was known for giving hand-crafted gifts to those he loved. He loved all forms of music and held Prince as his favorite musical artist. He was proud of his service in the U.S. Air Force, and spoke fondly of his time in Japan, expressing a desire to visit again someday. He could often be found outside, simply enjoying nature.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his children; Victoria Laird of Florida, Catherine Laird of Kentucky, Savannah Laird, Elijah Laird and Bethany Laird Floyd of Maine, Colton Brown of Alabama and Breanna Laird of Florida; 4 grandchildren; a sister Virginia Sandefer of Oxford; Two brothers; John Laird and Daniel Laird of Baldwyn; a special friend Janet Phelps of Baldwyn; and a host of nieces and nephews; as well as great nieces and nephews(many of which he had a special bond with).
He is proceeded in death by his parents, R.W. and Sybil Laird; a brother, Reuben Laird; sisters, Mary (Kitty) Jordan, Dawn Baldwin and Janis Robison; and a nephew, Edward Gillenwater, III.
