Joseph “Andy” Andrew Walls

Mr. Joseph Andrew “Andy” Walls, 85, died Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North MS in Oxford, MS. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. at Waller Funeral Home.

Andy was born in Batesville, MS on June 7, 1941 the late T.J. and Carline Walls.

He was a member of South Lamar Baptist Church and was known as a man of strong faith. He prioritized this faith in his daily life and sought to reflect it through kindness, generosity, and devotion to others.

Andy adored his family and cherished every opportunity to spend time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He was an avid fan of all Ole Miss sports and rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on the Rebels. He especially treasured the simple joys of life, including the companionship and love he shared throughout his 63 years of marriage.

In addition to his parents, Andy was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Wilburn; and great granddaughter, Sophia Smiley.

Andy is survived by his wife, Colista Walls of Oxford, MS; daughter, Lisa Veazey (Paul) of Oxford, MS; Son, Marcus Walls (Connie) of Oxford, MS; grandchildren, Sara Smiley, Drew Smiley (Amanda), T.J. Smiley (Cassie), A.J. Walls (Katie), Nichole Jones, Lacye Thomas; great grandchildren, Sidney Smiley, Colton Smiley, Spencer Smiley, Aubree Hartfield, Ellie Thomas, Stryker Thomas, Caiden Seymore and Maycen Seymore.
